Supporting Love, Amelia’s Back to School Campaign

Last week, our team swapped the office for the packing line, joining forces with local charity Love, Amelia to help children in our community get ready for the new school year.

On Wednesday 6 August Members of the Richard Reed team spent the day volunteering with Love, Amelia, helping to pack school bags filled with all the equipment children need to start the new school year with confidence.

Working together, we filled each bag with essential items such as stationery and water bottles, everything a child might need to feel prepared and supported for the year ahead. It was purposeful, hands-on work that reminded us how acts of generosity can make a big difference to families in our community.

We were represented by Laura Kerry, Matthew Lockey, Amy Orange, Shelley Wheeler, and Carole Tennant, who each gave their time and energy to support the charity’s Back to School campaign. Their efforts reflect our firm-wide commitment to community engagement and doing what we can to help level the playing field for children across the region.

The day was as rewarding as it was uplifting. Our volunteers left inspired by the dedication of the Love, Amelia team and the impact of their year-round work supporting families facing hardship. We are proud to play a small part in that mission and to stand alongside a charity making such a tangible difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Love, Amelia for the warm welcome and for organising such a well-run initiative. We look forward to coming back and continuing our support in the months ahead.

If you’d like to get involved by donating items, volunteering time, or spreading the word please consider supporting Love, Amelia and the invaluable work they do for local families.
