Cohabitation Agreements and Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements

The Law does not provide co-habitants and unmarried couples with the same rights as married couples but Agreements can be put in place to help protect shared assets and to help save financial heartache and emotional stress should their relationship come to an end further down the line.

We can also put Agreements in place for those couples that do want to marry. Pre-nuptial (completed before the marriage takes place) and post-nuptial agreements (completed after the marriage takes place) can help safeguard both parties’ assets, save from having to go through costly legal battles and can help prevent unnecessary emotional and financial worry should the marriage breakdown.
