At Richard Reed Solicitors, we are proud to share that our Board has been strengthened with the appointment of two exceptional new Directors. Nicola Bennell, Solicitor and Head of Conveyancing, and Annaliese Barber, Solicitor and Head of Wills, Trust and Probate department, have officially joined the Board to help shape the future of our firm.
Nicola has been a valued member of our team for seven years. She began her career in the fraud department at Northern Rock, where her experience with mortgages and property inspired her to pursue a career in law. Her passion for conveyancing was evident from the start.
“I’ve always enjoyed the hands-on nature of conveyancing, and that enthusiasm has never waned,” Nicola shares. “Richard Reed is like a big family, and it’s a privilege to now play an active role in shaping the firm’s future. Joining the Board is both an honour and an opportunity to contribute to the growth of a well-respected brand.”
Annaliese, too, is excited about this next chapter. A highly skilled Private Client Solicitor, she handles Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, and Court of Protection work. Additionally, she is qualified as a Notary Public, giving her the authority to authenticate and certify documents for international use.
“I’m thrilled to take on this responsibility and help determine the direction Richard Reed will take moving forward,” says Annaliese. “To prepare for this role, I’ve undertaken a Level 5 apprenticeship in Operations Department Management, which has equipped me with valuable skills beyond the legal sphere. These tools will undoubtedly enhance my ability to manage teams and fulfill my duties as a Director.”
