On Thursday 22nd May 2025, Richard Reed Solicitors was proud to be one of the sponsors of a truly memorable event, a charity football match held at the Stadium of Light as part of Sunderland AFC’s “Play on the Pitch” initiative.

The event, organised by Northern Spire Wealth Management, raised vital funds for Grace House, a much-loved local charity that provides support for disabled children, young people, and their families. It was an unforgettable day filled with great sportsmanship, community spirit, and a shared commitment to a wonderful cause.

We were thrilled to see our very own Director and Solicitor Phil Moir and Associate Solicitor Matthew Lockey take to the pitch and represent Richard Reed Solicitors on the day. This unique opportunity not only gave participants the chance to experience playing on the Stadium of Light pitch, but it also brought together local businesses, clients, and supporters of Grace House to make a tangible difference in the lives of those the charity supports.

A huge thank you goes to Northern Spire for organising the match and to everyone who donated and cheered from the sidelines. We’re honoured to have been part of such a special day and to have played a small part in supporting Grace House and its amazing work in the community.
